Field Applications Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver on-site assistance for pre-and post-sales initiatives with both direct customers and channel partners.

• Train, educate, and support both new and existing customers regarding Lunaphore instrumentation and data analysis solutions.

• Work alongside account managers to enhance sales of instruments, software, and consumables.

• Participate in scientific meetings, conferences, and trade shows to showcase company products, applications, and data.

• Investigate hardware, software, and biological assay issues, developing solutions to resolve them.

• Provide comprehensive reports and present field feedback through detailed presentations.

• Create multiplex staining assays and assess stained tissues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field is mandatory.

• An advanced degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline is preferred.

• At least three years of hands-on experience in a molecular biology lab, clinical lab, discovery lab, or biochemistry setting is essential.

• Previous experience in a field application or scientific support role is advantageous.

• Proven ability in experiment design and analytical skills, with a solid foundation in scientific principles.

• In-depth knowledge of histology, immunostaining, fluorescence microscopy, microfluidics, and automation.

• Capability to independently assist customers through proactive communication, troubleshooting reagents/instruments, and conducting optimization/validation studies.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to convey data in a clear and understandable manner.
