This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Assist the sales team with existing products by delivering product presentations, conducting demonstrations, and performing application studies, while collaborating closely with product management on new products through beta testing and demonstrations.
• Take responsibility for the designated product line to facilitate the achievement of sales targets within the specified territory.
• Aid the sales process by analyzing customer requirements and generating application trials to design optimized products that align with application specifications.
• Proactively provide technical support, respond to inquiries, and resolve implementation issues encountered by customers in the field.
• Assist the quality department in managing quality complaints by troubleshooting customer processes for enhanced investigation and resolution.
• Gather, compile, verify, and analyze data on the performance of the assigned product line and customer feedback to identify necessary product feature modifications to meet customer demands.
• Report on competitor products and relay feedback to application specialist management and product management.
• Deliver basic product training to internal sales teams and dealers, and facilitate external customer workshops and seminars.
• Conduct trials and demonstrations to achieve desired outcomes and prepare trial reports for product management and sales teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope and acceptance criteria for trials and produce professional trial reports.
• Domestic travel is required 30-50% of the time.
• Must be able to lift 49.9 pounds on a semi-regular basis.
• A valid US driver's license is required.
• A bachelor's degree in biological engineering, biotechnology, or another life sciences-related field.
• Familiarity with life science application experiment technology and a solid understanding of current research topics is advantageous.
• Relevant experience in a similar role within the industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of related products, laboratory processes, and equipment is essential.
• Strong capacity for learning and an expert knowledge base in this domain.
• Ability to effectively communicate and interface with product, project, and division management.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proficient in software applications, including Microsoft Office.
