Field Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Deliver first and second-level application support for our molecular and gene testing product range (PCR, Sanger sequencing, NGS…) and assist with device installations.

• Provide support to our affiliates and distributors in all application-related activities, including installations, demonstrations, on-site validations, training, and troubleshooting.

• Ensure that product updates, complaints handling, and post-marketing surveillance are managed efficiently and effectively.

• Design and conduct training programs for products and applications.

• Contribute to customer relationship management by understanding customer needs, setting suitable product and performance expectations, and collecting market intelligence on competitive information and new sales opportunities.

• Relay information to Product Marketing, Scientific, Technical, R&D, QM, and other departments as necessary to aid in the accurate marketing and further development of our products.

• Oversee application-related collaborations.

• Assist in organizing and participating in user group meetings, workshops, and exhibitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Medicine, or vocational training with a focus on the aforementioned fields.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Sequencing, preferably in a clinical laboratory environment or as a trainer or field application specialist.

• Familiarity with data analysis, software applications, and/or bioinformatics tools and programs.

• Capability to articulate complex clinical, medical, and diagnostic topics into clear language and visual aids.

• Strong communication and teaching skills, particularly in the context of online training.

• A clear vision and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

• A practical, problem-solving mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines.

• A collaborative, analytical, organized, and meticulous work style.

• Willingness to travel (up to 80%).

• Proficient in English and Spanish; knowledge of additional European languages (such as French) is a plus.
