This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Provide technical support to customers before, during, and after sales by conducting live demonstrations, troubleshooting incoming customer inquiries/issues, proactively engaging with clients, collecting feedback for product enhancement, facilitating operational communications, coordinating shipments, diagnosing technical problems, and performing basic preventative maintenance on instrumentation.

• Showcase the benefits of ONI’s technology suite to prospective clients through in-person demonstrations at various application sites.

• Ensure a superior customer experience by maintaining expertise in cutting-edge imaging methods, serving as a knowledgeable peer to clients.

• Increase product visibility by interacting with the scientific community, addressing technical inquiries, and delivering presentations and demonstrations of ONI’s products at conferences, webinars, seminars, and other industry events.

• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to comprehend the status and specifics of each opportunity within the sales pipeline, providing scientific insights during pitches and meetings with potential customers.

• Design and execute experiments at customer locations or within ONI’s laboratory to demonstrate how ONI’s technology suite can address specific challenges and fulfill client needs.

• Assist customers with product setup and operation by conducting demonstrations and training sessions, both remotely and on-site, to ensure effective utilization of ONI’s products.

• Offer ongoing hands-on support and advice to customers, acting as the primary contact for technical inquiries, support requests, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

• Oversee the packing and shipping of components, instruments, and products to both the customer base and internal users via couriers.

• Coordinate with the global logistics team to manage shipments and communicate with external and internal customers on a daily basis.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, demonstration results, technical issues, and resolutions in Salesforce.

• Produce regular reports on customer feedback, product performance, and customer success metrics for the Product and Marketing teams to evaluate and enhance customer satisfaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in characterizing and analyzing biological samples using relevant fluorescence microscopy techniques.

• Proficient in designing protocols for sample preparation in fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), immunohistochemistry, or fluorescence microscopy.

• Capable of conducting physical demonstrations and presentations of innovative Life Science technologies to technical audiences.

• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously across different phases.

• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary scientific team.

• Familiarity with sample preparation for fluorescence microscopy, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), or immunohistochemistry.

• Skilled in analyzing microscopy data.

• Ability to identify suitable use cases for various microscopy experiments.

• Understanding of commercial acumen and capital equipment sales processes in the life sciences industry.

• Proficient in verbal and written scientific communication.

• Strong presentation skills.

• PhD in life sciences required.

• Experience in building data science algorithms for image analysis (Desired Skill).

• Experience using super-resolution microscopy for biological research (Desired Skill).

• Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce (Desired Skill).

• Experience in sample preparation for super-resolution microscopy (Desired Skill).

• At least 2 years in a commercial FAS role with a minimum of 2 years in laboratory and related disciplines preferred (Desired Skill).
