This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Act as the main technical liaison for customers throughout the phases of deployment, testing, and operational activities.
• Oversee customer-oriented engagements concerning deployment planning, implementation, system performance, and ongoing support.
• Create deployment plans, project timelines, operational procedures, and technical strategies for autonomous robotic systems.
• Coordinate and drive execution among engineering, operations, and customer teams to guarantee successful project results.
• Implement and monitor advanced robotic systems in customer and field settings.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate hardware, software, autonomy, networking, and systems integration challenges in live operational environments.
• Analyze field performance data and communicate insights, risks, and recommendations to engineering and product teams.
• Manage multiple customer deployments and technical projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and timelines.
• Conduct technical reviews, deployment readiness evaluations, and project status discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by converting complex technical concepts into actionable operational guidance.
• Record technical findings, deployment results, and customer feedback to influence product development and deployment strategies.
• Identify areas for enhancing deployment processes, customer experience, operational efficiency, and product adoption.
• Assist with demonstrations, field testing activities, and strategic customer interactions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for diagnosing and resolving intricate technical issues.
• Practical experience with robotics platforms, autonomous systems, drones, quadrupeds, humanoids, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of sensors, electronics, embedded systems, networking, and robotic subsystems.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
• Experience acting as a customer-facing technical point of contact.
• Capability to independently manage deployment projects, schedules, technical deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong project management expertise, including planning, prioritization, risk assessment, issue resolution, and execution.
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to carry out complex technical initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, encompassing customer presentations, project updates, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site with customers and field teams.
• Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities, environments, and operational requirements.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Self-driven with a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Capability to occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed during deployments.
