Field Adjuster – 1099 Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform on-site inspections of properties affected by flood incidents.

• Evaluate and document property damage through comprehensive notes, photographs, sketches, and diagrams.

• Generate precise repair estimates utilizing Xactimate or similar estimating tools.

• Clarify relevant policy coverage and the claims process to policyholders when necessary.

• Ensure timely communication with policyholders and other claim stakeholders.

• Submit thorough, well-documented inspection reports along with supporting materials.

• Adhere to FEMA guidelines, policy requirements, and established claims handling protocols.

• Independently manage assignments while upholding quality standards and turnaround expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred active flood adjuster license/certification (NFIP or private flood).

• Prior experience in managing flood or property claims as a Field Adjuster.

• Proficiency in Xactimate or equivalent estimating software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Dependable transportation and readiness to travel within designated areas.
