This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Electrical Inspections: Perform regular evaluations of all electrical systems, subassemblies, and final products to ensure adherence to standards.
• Process Audits: Carry out audits of the electrical assembly, control wiring, power distribution wiring, and commercial wiring installation procedures.
• Testing and Reporting: Support or create testing and commissioning documentation to record product performance and compliance.
• Quality Standards Documentation: Outline quality standards and specifications pertaining to electrical installations and assemblies, and work together on training initiatives.
• Compliance Verification: Confirm that all tasks are completed according to approved standards and drawings, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
• Non-Conformance Documentation: Record material non-conformities discovered during inspections of work in progress, finished products, and incoming materials.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in partnership with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams to enhance design for manufacturability and minimize inefficiencies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that product designs align with regulatory requirements, commercial codes, customer specifications, and engineering standards.
• Tool Calibration: Aid in managing the tool calibration program, with an emphasis on electrical testing equipment.
• Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned to support the quality assurance process.
• Travel 80% of the time to job locations where Crusoe Industries products are utilized. When not traveling, provide support to Crusoe Industries production teams at our Brighton, Colorado manufacturing facility.
• Journeyman Electrician Preferred
• Detail Orientation: Must possess a keen eye for detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective teamwork.
• Analytical and Decision-Making: High-level analytical skills and sound judgment are essential.
• Physical Requirements: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended durations.
• Electrical Experience: Journeyman Electrician with over 5 years of industry experience or more than 7 years in electrical assembly/inspection.
• Electrical Systems Knowledge: Previous experience with low and medium voltage electrical installations.
• Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA testing specifications.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers, VFDs, HMI, MCC, and UPS.
• Component Identification: Proficiency in identifying electrical components, hardware, and equipment.
• Schematic Interpretation: Ability to read, comprehend, and trace electrical schematics.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency with experience in Word/Excel; knowledge of scheduling software is an advantage.
• Safety and Compliance: Must successfully pass background checks and drug/alcohol testing due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 100% based on project requirements, including overnight stays.
