FHA Mortgage Origination Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing a range of inquiries via calls and emails from both the mortgage lending sector and the public regarding FHA guidelines and processes.

• Leverage your expertise in the mortgage industry to find answers in a knowledge database to respond to client requests.

• Adhere to standard operating procedures across various topics, systems, and communication channels.

• Record all interactions in a database for accurate tracking.

• Stay informed about the latest FHA mortgage processes and protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to navigate various computer systems and applications, employing search tools to provide clients with accurate information.

• Strong time management abilities and reliability.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• A minimum of two years of experience with FHA loans (e.g., loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer) along with an additional year of customer service or contact center experience, or at least three years of loan origination experience with conventional loans and/or other government-backed loans (e.g., FHA, USDA, VA).

• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which necessitates a credit check and background investigation.

• Experience in a Contact Center environment (omnichannel).

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, both verbally and in writing.

• Knowledge and experience with FHA processes.
