This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to a range of calls and emails from both the mortgage lending sector and the public regarding FHA guidelines and procedures.
• Leverage your expertise in the mortgage industry to find answers in a knowledge database to address client inquiries.
• Adhere to established operating procedures for various topics, systems, and communication channels.
• Maintain records of all interactions in a database.
• Stay informed about current FHA mortgage processes and procedures.
• Ability to navigate various computer systems and applications, utilizing search tools to provide information to our clients.
• Strong time management skills and reliability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of two years of experience working with FHA loans (e.g., loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer) along with an additional year in customer service or contact center roles, or at least three years of loan origination experience with conventional or other government-backed loans (e.g., FHA, USDA, VA).
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation.
• Ideally, you will also possess:
• Experience in a contact center (omnichannel).
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English), both verbal and written.
• Knowledge or experience with FHA processes.
