
Fees Coordinator, Social Security Disability Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Monitor attorney fee payments made by the Social Security Administration.
• Oversee pending fee authorizations and proactively follow up on outstanding payments.
• Examine Notices of Award, fee authorizations, and associated SSA correspondence.
• Investigate discrepancies between anticipated and actual payments.
• Liaise with SSA offices concerning payment statuses and inquiries related to fees.
• Keep precise records of payment tracking activities.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and accounting teams to address payment concerns.
• Create reports detailing outstanding fees and payment patterns.
• Ensure adherence to firm policies and SSA regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Social Security Disability law firm or a related SSA environment.
• Familiarity with SSA attorney fee payment procedures, fee agreements, and fee authorizations.
• Experience in reviewing Notices of Award and SSA-related correspondence.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
