Federal Security and Compliance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting, contract security, facility access, and compliance support throughout Matrix Design Group.

• Act as the primary project contact for contract security needs.

• Manage personnel, subcontractor, and facility access protocols for federal establishments.

• Aid in the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified data, operationally sensitive information, Personally Identifiable Information (PII), proprietary data, and other safeguarded Government or third-party information.

• Assist with responsibilities associated with the Facility Security Officer role.

• Contribute to Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) initiatives and associated cybersecurity compliance efforts.

• Investigate designated areas or topics and draft both formal and informal reports.

• Facilitate project execution by generating reports, technical documents, presentations, programming documents, and other project outputs.

• Engage with clients and their representatives.

• Provide assistance in project management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, operations research, data science, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.

• Preferred background in collaboration with or for the Department of War, including contract security, facility access, CUI management, CMMC, or related compliance support.

• A valid driver's license, along with successful completion of the Company’s MVR screening.

• Willingness to travel to client sites, project locations, and federal facilities as necessary.

• Must qualify for access to U.S. Government facilities, systems, and information, including the capability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or higher security clearance when required by contract.
