This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of a designated enterprise territory and achieve an annual quota through acquiring new logos and expanding existing accounts.
• Build, manage, and execute a pipeline of intricate enterprise transactions from initial prospecting to final closing.
• Engage with C-level and VP-level decision makers within large enterprise organizations.
• Conduct structured, value-driven sales cycles.
• Create business cases that link Cohesity’s AI-powered data security platform to outcomes in security, resilience, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales engineers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to develop coordinated account strategies.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management in Salesforce.
• Utilize AI and productivity tools to enhance workflows, elevate deal quality, and facilitate data-driven decision making.
• Manage and expand a designated Federal territory.
• Drive the acquisition of new logos and the expansion of enterprise accounts by positioning Cohesity as an essential infrastructure for cyber resilience and data security.
• Proven experience in selling to and collaborating with Information Security / Cybersecurity teams.
• In-depth understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Capability to align solutions with customer security and risk requirements.
• Significant success in a quota-carrying, customer-facing enterprise sales role involving complex technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in selling to enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders and intricate sales cycles.
• Knowledge of data security architectures and resilience against ransomware.
• Awareness of the competitive landscape.
• Prior experience with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale, including immutable storage, hardened media servers, ACL-based controls, and encryption.
• Strong record of negotiating and finalizing high-value enterprise contracts.
• Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners and cross-functional deal teams.
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in professional English for effective communication with customers and internal teams.
