Federal Account Executive – Civilian Agencies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Drive and enhance Sonatype’s revenue growth and presence in the US Federal Civilian sector.

• Take ownership of the strategic design of your territory to create new Annual Contract Value (ACV).

• Oversee the complete sales lifecycle and improve pipeline velocity.

• Navigate the intricate bureaucratic and regulatory landscapes of federal agencies such as DHS, HHS, DOT, and Treasury.

• Work in collaboration with Sales Engineering, Federal Channels, Legal, and Customer Success teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience managing federal procurement processes.

• Demonstrated ability to sustain complex relationships with multiple stakeholders.

• Comprehensive technical understanding of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) orchestration.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
