This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the subject matter expert for aesthetics specialty courses, ensuring oversight of course content and instructional alignment within specific specialty tracks.
• Engage in systematic curriculum review processes to maintain compliance with national accrediting bodies and align with institutional initiatives.
• Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with the Associate Dean to discuss program operations, curriculum development, faculty performance, and student issues.
• Guarantee effective and compliant student practicum placements through coordination with clinical partners and preceptor approvals.
• Offer faculty development and mentorship for adjunct instructors involved in the aesthetics program through structured communication, program guidance, and performance support initiatives.
• Work alongside the Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator to prepare students for practicum experiences, including preceptor or credential reviews, approval of placement modifications, and resolving site-related challenges.
• Review and authorize all practicum preceptor assignments for enrolled students in the program.
• Conduct virtual site evaluations of clinical and aesthetic practice partners quarterly to ensure compliance and maintain educational quality.
• Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process for new adjunct faculty in collaboration with the Associate Dean.
• Review select admissions applications that require additional oversight for the aesthetics program.
• Actively engage in Program Coordinator meetings, aligning responsibilities with departmental strategic initiatives and curriculum planning efforts.
• Collaborate with curriculum and instructional design teams to create, revise, and supervise program curriculum, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and industry standards.
• Coordinate with the Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator to secure and implement instructional resources that enhance student learning and outcomes (e.g., clinical tools, library resources, educational software).
• Monitor student performance and collaborate with faculty to identify and assist students who need additional academic or clinical resources.
• Provide oversight and intervention for at-risk students through coordinated communication with faculty and students.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities offered by the institution to enhance leadership effectiveness and role competencies.
• Doctorate or terminal degree in the relevant discipline; professional certification in the aesthetics field may be acceptable.
• A minimum of three (3) years of direct supervisory experience within an academic institution; experience in multi-campus leadership is preferred.
• Proven subject matter expertise in aesthetics or an assigned specialty area.
• In exceptional cases, relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of academic credentials; detailed documentation will be necessary.
• Active and applicable professional licensure and/or certifications are mandatory and must be documented.
• Certification in aesthetics is preferred (Certified Aesthetics Nurse Specialist).
