Family Nurse Practitioner Adjunct Faculty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality instruction for each course assigned within the established academic program curriculum.

• Timely respond to specific and general inquiries from the institution and administrative officials, prospective employers, professional organizations, public agencies, civic organizations, private foundations, the general public, and students, as applicable.

• Foster appropriate standards of linguistic expression in both written and verbal communications.

• Ensure that all academic program requirements and necessary documentation are completed for each student and submitted according to established deadlines.

• Meet all faculty expectations consistently on a weekly basis.

• Effectively manage all classroom activities.

• Be readily available to students for questions and support.

• Stay updated on educational and professional literature to incorporate best practices in the areas related to the courses taught.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) is required.

• Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse, preferably in the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty.

• Professional experience is necessary, with a strong preference for candidates who have online teaching experience.

• Consideration will be given to non-FNP faculty with experience teaching at the MSN level for select core MSN courses.

• A valid APRN License in PA, LA, TN, and GA is mandatory.
