
Family Law – Legal Operations Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Provide updates to clients on the status of their cases.
• Electronically submit uncontested pleadings via Odyssey File and Serve.
• Prepare legal documents and pleadings utilizing approved templates.
• Maintain and refresh lead tracking spreadsheets and reporting records.
• Follow up with post-consultation leads to promote client conversion.
• Dispatch retainer agreements post-consultation using Lawcus.
• Promptly return client calls and text messages during business hours.
• Professionally answer incoming calls through Google Voice in a timely manner.
• Organize, sustain, and update client files, pleadings, and court notifications.
• Acquire client signatures through Dropbox Sign and Lawcus workflows.
• Accurately enter and verify information of clients, opposing parties, and opposing counsel within Lawcus.
• Ensure a seamless case flow and onboarding once a lead becomes a client.
• Follow up with potential clients to arrange consultations.
• Add and manage new leads within the Lawcus CRM.
• Guarantee accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all case records and documentation.
• At least 1 year of experience as a legal assistant, or in a legal support role, and/or a related Bachelor's degree in legal studies.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and keep organized records.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong client service orientation with outstanding follow-up and communication abilities.
• Proficient organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
• Professional skills in managing client relationships.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage deadlines.
• Experience in maintaining legal records and case documentation.
• Strong administrative and data entry capabilities.
• Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new software platforms.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established processes.
• Responsive, reliable, and client-focused work approach.
• Professional discretion and confidentiality are essential.
• Experience in legal document drafting is preferred.
