Family Law Attorney, Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Manage family law cases, encompassing divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and other related domestic relations issues.

• Conduct consultations with clients and offer expert legal advice.

• Prepare motions, pleadings, discovery documents, settlement agreements, and various family law paperwork.

• Engage in legal research and contribute to the development of case strategies.

• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, trials, and other court proceedings as required.

• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and the legal team effectively.

• Oversee cases from initiation to resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Massachusetts family law is required.

• Extensive experience in divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support issues.

• Proficient in court appearances, motion practice, discovery processes, and case management.

• Exceptional legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and client management capabilities.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to efficiently handle multiple cases.

• A self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
