Family Law Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance a complete caseload of family law cases from initial intake to final resolution.

• Manage matters related to divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony, and domestic violence/protective orders.

• Transition and expand an existing portfolio within the firm’s platform.

• Continue to develop referral sources and nurture client relationships across the Raleigh/Triangle area.

• Advocate for clients in court, during mediations, and in settlement negotiations throughout the region.

• Offer strategic legal advice while ensuring outstanding client relations.

• Work collaboratively with firm leadership to drive ongoing growth and expansion in North Carolina.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Active and good standing North Carolina Bar license.

• A minimum of five years of experience in family law.

• Proven track record of generating and maintaining a transferable book of business.

• Strong experience in litigation and courtroom proceedings.

• Capability to independently handle a busy caseload with minimal oversight.

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to building and expanding a successful practice.

• Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and client relationship management.
