Faculty Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the creation and execution of innovative programs aimed at onboarding, training, mentoring, developing, engaging, and retaining college collaborators.

• Offer consultation and assistance in curriculum delivery, strategies, assessment, and technology integration.

• Lead faculty development initiatives and enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

• Create and execute programs to ensure adherence to institutional policies and best practices.

• Oversee multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

• Identify training requirements and collaborate with subject matter experts.

• Analyze diverse problems/issues and determine effective solutions.

• Provide support for current online faculty and professional development offerings.

• Maintain documentation to track and monitor faculty progress and engagement.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Advanced skills in developing and facilitating various instructional experiences.

• Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Experience collaborating with faculty members on career development initiatives.

• Background in faculty development within a higher education environment.

• Proficiency in building courses within a learning management system (LMS).

• A Master's degree or higher in a related field.
