This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Evaluate information to pinpoint claims that necessitate verification.

• Conduct research and substantiate claims by utilizing credible online resources and available evidence.

• Assess the credibility, relevance, consistency, and timeliness of sources.

• Analyze conflicting data and reach the most reasonable, evidence-based conclusions.

• Differentiate between verified facts, assumptions, opinions, and unverifiable information.

• Employ critical thinking when assessing claims that require further investigation.

• Review information within the appropriate context and consider the factors influencing accuracy.

• Record findings and assign accuracy ratings in accordance with project guidelines.

• Ensure quality, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Recognize authoritative sources and substantiate evidence-based decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational qualifications or equivalent experience in Journalism, Research, Editorial, Communications, Content Analysis, Public Policy, Law, Information Science, or a related discipline.

• Excellent proficiency in written English comprehension and communication.

• Strong skills in online research and information verification.

• Outstanding analytical thinking, reasoning, and attention to detail.

• Comfortable making evidence-based decisions even when information is incomplete, ambiguous, or conflicting.

• Ability to work independently while consistently adhering to detailed project guidelines.

• Proficient in web research tools, search engines, and online information resources.

• Strong documentation abilities and capability to clearly articulate findings and the rationale behind decisions.

• Native-level proficiency in Arabic along with robust written and verbal communication skills is essential.
