πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Conduct thorough visual evaluations of building systems, encompassing architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety elements.

β€’ Record current conditions, deficiencies, and operational performance of facility assets utilizing standardized assessment methods and industry best practices.

β€’ Assess the remaining useful life of building systems and components, applying engineering and architectural design standards to establish replacement timing and priorities.

β€’ Create detailed cost estimates for capital repairs, replacements, and renewals to assist client budget planning and strategic decision-making.

β€’ Use specialized assessment software platforms (VFA facility by Gordian, FOScore by CannonDesign, and Corrigo) to capture, analyze, and report facility condition data.

β€’ Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary assessment teams to ensure all building systems are comprehensively covered and findings are accurately reported.

β€’ Perform on-site fieldwork that necessitates prolonged periods of walking, climbing ladders, and accessing mechanical spaces and building infrastructure areas.

β€’ Develop clear, professional assessment reports and presentations that convert technical findings into actionable recommendations for clients.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a combination of education and 5+ years of relevant professional experience will also be considered.

β€’ At least 5+ years of experience in facility assessments, building systems evaluation, or a related architectural/engineering field.

β€’ Proficient in applying engineering and architectural design standards, practices, and techniques to facility condition assessments.

β€’ Strong knowledge of commercial construction codes and their applicability to existing facilities.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, analysis, and reporting purposes.

β€’ US citizenship is a requirement for this position.

β€’ Physical capability to walk for up to 8 hours per day as demanded by the role.

β€’ Proven ability to lift and push weights up to 75 lbs regularly.
