This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and implement outreach, engagement, and communication strategies that enhance awareness and contribute to the growth of FoundationCCC’s cooperative purchasing programs.
• Acting as a proactive ambassador for the program, this position will foster relationships with community colleges, K-12 districts, higher education institutions, cities, counties, and other public agencies, as well as vendors and internal stakeholders to reinforce and expand current programs.
• Accountable for strategizing and executing targeted outreach and marketing initiatives, including promotional campaigns, newsletters, workshops, conference participation, presentations, networking events, advisory board meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Assist in the growth and development of FoundationCCC across all business sectors, with a particular focus on facilities, energy, sustainability, and climate action.
• Enhance awareness, adoption, and utilization of FoundationCCC’s cooperative purchasing programs, employing various communication methods to forge new relationships.
• Influence planning and strategy related to the expansion of programs.
• Develop fluency with program contracts to boost contract utilization among community college districts, K-12 districts, higher education institutions, cities, counties, and other public agencies.
• Organize and conduct regular outreach for partners, monitoring the utilization of our program(s) and pinpointing areas for enhanced collaboration.
• A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible work experience, with at least one (1) year in an outreach-focused, external-facing sales, account management, or customer service role.
• A relevant BA/BS degree, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both is required.
• Knowledge of California’s education system, local government agencies, and/or sales is an advantage.
