Facilities Maintenance Technician – Multi Unit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on maintenance, repair, and infrastructure support across various locations.

• Work autonomously with minimal oversight, travel between sites as necessary, and ensure compliance along with operational efficiency.

• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems.

• Serve as the primary technical authority for facility infrastructure systems.

• Identify equipment and system issues and take corrective measures.

• Perform inspections to detect risks and outstanding maintenance needs.

• Oversee and manage contractors and vendors for maintenance tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance is required.

• Proven experience in supporting comprehensive building systems.

• Experience in coordinating contractors and service providers across multiple locations is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary.

• Familiarity with HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, and exhaust equipment.

• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, lighting, panels, receptacles, and lockout/tagout procedures.

• Experience with plumbing systems and domestic water infrastructure.

• Skills in dock door and dock leveler maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Capability to read blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Proficiency with CMMS platforms and basic computer applications.
