This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Deliver hands-on facilities maintenance, repair, and infrastructure support throughout a specified district or region.
• Operate autonomously with minimal supervision, traveling between sites as necessary.
• Ensure building systems are safe, compliant, and operational to maintain uninterrupted customer operations.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on core building systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, dock equipment, and building envelope components.
• Regularly travel between assigned facilities to implement maintenance plans, inspections, and repairs.
• Identify equipment and system deficiencies and determine suitable corrective measures.
• Conduct regular facility rounds and inspections to spot risks, compliance issues, and deferred maintenance.
• Keep precise CMMS documentation encompassing work orders, inspections, asset history, and follow-up actions.
• Support facility uptime during peak operations, critical incidents, and emergency situations.
• Maintain regular communication with operations leadership, safety teams, and district management regarding facility conditions and priorities.
• Ensure adherence to all LGSTX, customer, OSHA, local, state, and federal safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance is required.
• Proven experience supporting comprehensive building systems.
• Experience in coordinating contractors and service providers across multiple sites is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, and exhaust equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, lighting, panels, receptacles, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Understanding of plumbing systems and domestic water infrastructure.
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting dock doors and dock levelers.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms and basic computer applications.
