
Facilities Maintenance Technician β Multi Unit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on base building systems, which include HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, dock equipment, and building envelope components.
β’ Regularly travel between assigned facilities to implement maintenance plans, conduct inspections, and carry out repairs.
β’ Serve as the main technical authority for facility infrastructure systems within the designated district.
β’ Identify equipment and system deficiencies, determine suitable corrective measures, and either perform or coordinate necessary repairs.
β’ Carry out routine facility rounds and inspections to detect risks, compliance issues, and deferred maintenance.
β’ Manage, dispatch, oversee, and ensure quality control of contractors and service vendors, which includes verifying scope, permits, safety compliance, and workmanship.
β’ Keep precise CMMS documentation, including work orders, inspections, asset history, and follow-up actions.
β’ Act as the first point of escalation for facility-related issues and emergencies, coordinating response efforts to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations.
β’ Assist in maintaining facility uptime during peak operations, critical incidents, and emergency scenarios.
β’ Carry out minor mechanical, electrical, or conveyor-related repairs as needed to support operations until specialized resources can arrive.
β’ Maintain regular communication with operations leadership, safety teams, and district management regarding facility conditions and priorities.
β’ Ensure adherence to all LGSTX, customer, OSHA, local, state, and federal safety and regulatory standards.
β’ A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
β’ Three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance is required.
β’ Proven experience in supporting comprehensive building systems.
β’ A valid driverβs license is necessary.
β’ Knowledge of HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, and exhaust equipment.
β’ Familiarity with electrical distribution systems, lighting, panels, receptacles, and lockout/tagout procedures.
β’ Understanding of plumbing systems and domestic water infrastructure.
β’ Experience with dock door and dock leveler maintenance and troubleshooting.
β’ Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
β’ Proficiency in CMMS platforms and basic computer applications.
