Facilities Maintenance Technician – Multi Unit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on base building systems, which include HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, dock equipment, and building envelope components.

• Regularly travel between assigned facilities to implement maintenance plans, conduct inspections, and carry out repairs.

• Serve as the main technical authority for facility infrastructure systems within the designated district.

• Identify equipment and system deficiencies, determine suitable corrective measures, and either perform or coordinate necessary repairs.

• Carry out routine facility rounds and inspections to detect risks, compliance issues, and deferred maintenance.

• Manage, dispatch, oversee, and ensure quality control of contractors and service vendors, which includes verifying scope, permits, safety compliance, and workmanship.

• Keep precise CMMS documentation, including work orders, inspections, asset history, and follow-up actions.

• Act as the first point of escalation for facility-related issues and emergencies, coordinating response efforts to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations.

• Assist in maintaining facility uptime during peak operations, critical incidents, and emergency scenarios.

• Carry out minor mechanical, electrical, or conveyor-related repairs as needed to support operations until specialized resources can arrive.

• Maintain regular communication with operations leadership, safety teams, and district management regarding facility conditions and priorities.

• Ensure adherence to all LGSTX, customer, OSHA, local, state, and federal safety and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance is required.

• Proven experience in supporting comprehensive building systems.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, and exhaust equipment.

• Familiarity with electrical distribution systems, lighting, panels, receptacles, and lockout/tagout procedures.

• Understanding of plumbing systems and domestic water infrastructure.

• Experience with dock door and dock leveler maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Proficiency in CMMS platforms and basic computer applications.
