Fabric Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and publish Power BI reports utilizing Fabric semantic models in both DirectLake and Import modes.

• Convert business requirements into structured data models and well-organized report layouts.

• Draft and enhance DAX measures that support business key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Collect, document, and refine reporting needs in collaboration with business partners.

• Implement row-level and object-level security within semantic models.

• Verify the accuracy of reports against source data.

• Develop certified datasets and reusable templates for self-service analytics.

• Engage in peer reviews for reports, DAX logic, and model design.

• Share insights and collaborate with teams to transform data into actionable decisions.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance analysis and expedite delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in creating Power BI reports and dashboards in a professional environment.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data modeling, is mandatory.

• Experience with AI is essential, demonstrating a history of utilizing AI tools in your work.

• Proficient understanding of DAX for measures, calculated columns, and time-intelligence functions.

• Strong grasp of data modeling principles such as star schema, relationships, and cardinality.

• Ability to use SQL to query relational databases and validate data underlying your reports.

• Experience with Power Query and M for transformations in Import mode.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to present data and resolve issues.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

• Experience related to membership or loyalty programs is a significant advantage.

• DP-600 Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification is preferred and must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
