Extensive Support Needs Educator, CA Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Utilize the educator portal to choose the assignments you wish to undertake.

• Instruct using the school’s curriculum via the district's online platform.

• Create lesson plans that are in line with the class curriculum.

• Encourage creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning setting.

• Engage with students and support their learning through intentional, relationship-centered approaches.

• Monitor and record student grades and overall performance.

• Attend professional development sessions and faculty meetings organized by the district.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is present with the students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess an active California Moderate to Severe teaching certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional teaching role is required.

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory.

• Must have access to a laptop or desktop computer, a webcam, a headset, and stable internet connectivity.

• Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submission of a background check are required as part of the application process.

• Previous experience in online teaching is an advantage!
