• Take charge of the strategy, budget, and execution for 2F's premier annual symposium, overseeing everything from initial concept to day-of operations and post-event evaluation.
• Create memorable experiences. Craft standout moments—whether it's an unexpected venue, a popular activation, desirable swag that attendees cherish, or a stunt that organically finds its way onto LinkedIn—leaving a lasting impression of 2F.
• Develop innovative, unconventional concepts that position 2F as a leader in a competitive and traditional market, while having the capability to successfully implement them.
• Organize our happy hours, social events, and executive dinners—highly engaged interactions where deals and partnerships flourish—while refreshing the format to stand out from the ordinary.
• Oversee sporting and action-sports activations and suite hospitality, including racing partnerships and VIP programs.
• Direct our trade show presence and large-scale booth activations: from design direction to vendor management, logistics, staffing, and lead capture—with a creative vision that challenges the norm.
• Develop customer engagement programs that strengthen relationships within our customer and partner networks.
• Collaborate with sales and demand generation teams to align activations with the sales pipeline and measurable results.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, venues, agencies, and production partners—encouraging them to exceed their limits and ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and our quality standards.
• Adopt an ecosystem-first mentality: prioritize our customers and partners and their successes, rather than focusing solely on our own.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in experiential, events, or field marketing—preferably with large-scale (250+) flagship events.
• A portfolio showcasing memorable moments and an understanding of how these moments tied back to business objectives.
• Bold, innovative ideas that you have successfully executed—not just concepts that were shelved in committee. We want to see the event, activation, or giveaway that stood out because it was unique.
• Comprehensive ownership of projects: strategy, budget management, logistics, vendor oversight, and performance measurement.
• Established connections and proficiency within the defense tech, govtech, or national security sectors. (Highly preferred.)
• An eye for distinguishing between unconventional ideas that are merely odd and those that are effective, coupled with the discipline to see projects through to completion.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and high expectations.
• Willingness to travel and a hospitality mindset that shines under pressure.
• Competitive Salary
• 100% Healthcare, vision, and dental coverage
• 401(k) with a 3% company contribution
