Experiential Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct weekly group psycho-educational sessions through Telehealth.

• Innovate creative methods for delivering experiential group therapy online.

• Aid in developing experiential therapy curriculum by preparing weekly session plans.

• Participate in treatment team, group supervision, and curriculum planning discussions.

• Ensure that clinical services are provided in line with established best practices.

• Continuously enhance your understanding of the psychosocial dynamics of groups.

• Employ thoughtful risk management strategies.

• Communicate in a clear and professional manner with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referral sources.

• Complete documentation promptly, ensuring accuracy and quality writing.

• Uphold and exemplify professional ethics, including maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A licensed mental health professional is preferred.

• Experience working with a diverse age range, encompassing children, teens, young adults, and adult clients.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required.

• Experience and training in your chosen experiential modality (candidates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply), which may include but is not limited to: adventure therapy, experiential therapy, expressive therapy, creative therapy, recreation therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, sociometry, or psychodrama.

• Technical proficiency to effectively conduct Telehealth sessions.

• A reliable WiFi connection is necessary for meetings with clients.

• Familiarity with and willingness to utilize cloud-based communication tools—such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—as well as EMR and outcomes survey software on a regular basis.

• Authorization to work in the United States and native or bilingual proficiency in English.

• This is a 1099 position.

• A minimum availability of 9 hours per week is required, including at least 2 evenings from 3-9pm MST, Monday through Thursday.
