Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise, consecutive interpretation primarily within medical environments.

• Enable vital communication in social services and financial settings.

• Initially focused on OPI with a distinct opportunity to progress into VRI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.

• English Proficiency: At least C1 fluency. We accept valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE.

• Medical Interpretation Certification: You must provide documentation of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months. Accepted certifications include: ALTA Spanish fluency, with a minimum score of 9 required.

• LanguageStat (PICSI): A passing score of 75–80% is required.

• Core Skills: Comprehensive mastery of medical and customer service terminology.

• Compliance: Must currently possess, or be prepared to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

• Background Check: Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email.
