Experienced SGRE Certified MCE Wind Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a team member to assist and oversee on-site field operations with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.

• Guide team members in the lifting operations of equipment positioned at heights exceeding 250’.

• Supervise lifting operations after verifying skills on large components and demonstrate the ability to create, review, modify, and update lifting plans.

• Execute safe and efficient repairs on all Wind Turbine electrical systems.

• Carry out Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for equipment as an Authorized Person.

• Perform pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and engage in daily safety discussions.

• Maintain professional interactions with vendors and customers.

• Accurately document all work using various electronic formats and provide constructive feedback to the Safety and Quality department for business enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1.5 years of direct product experience on Siemens Gamesa Platforms is required.

• Experience specific to turbines is necessary.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics from various Wind Turbine manufacturers.

• Required experience in Main Component Exchange (MCE) along with additional knowledge in lifting operations.

• SGRE Green Profile is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge and skills related to generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment.

• Ability to identify potential issues and significant faults.
