Experienced Product Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Develops, implements, and maintains product security and resilience throughout the entire lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support.

• Creates and improves system requirements and architectures for product security to fulfill all relevant certification and customer needs.

• Safeguards the security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources utilized for product design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support.

• Establishes and defines product security requirements for suppliers of components and subsystems for integration into Boeing products and services.

• Collaborates with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to identify risks and enhance security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems.

• Engages in research and development activities leading to innovative solutions.

• Provides guidance to customers on maintaining product security and certification, including the security implications of modifying products and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

• Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which necessitates U.S. Citizenship as required by the U.S. Government.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber-security, information assurance, or a related field.

• Proficiency in interpreting and applying NIST requirements.

• Certification as an Application Security Engineer (CASE), Security+, a CISSP certification, or an equivalent Cyber Security certification (CISSP preferred).
