Experience Technical Architect – Innovation & Emerging Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee sprint execution by decomposing solution architecture into testable, deployable increments within two-week iterations.

• Develop bespoke integrations, data pipelines, custom interfaces, and automation solutions, including finely-tuned AI models, integrating GenStudio, Firefly, CX Enterprise CoWorker, AEP, and AEM into client systems through APIs.

• Create and implement custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors that link Adobe AI/agentic solutions with client enterprise systems.

• Design strategies for third-party connectors and integration patterns that enhance Adobe capabilities within client data ecosystems, knowledge bases, and operational systems, ensuring adherence to data governance and security standards.

• Direct AI hardening and validate production readiness by identifying edge cases, potential failures, and mitigation strategies prior to client pilot launches.

• Establish data schemas, lineage, and governance frameworks that support experimental AI initiatives.

• Produce and deploy production-quality code across the technology stack, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Node.js, React, and SQL, aligning with agile build and deployment cycles.

• Set coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure developers are aligned on technical patterns, quality practices, and integration best practices.

• Collaborate with solution architects to stress-test technical feasibility and incorporate implementation insights into architectural decisions.

• Document integration methodologies, configuration choices, and known issues alongside the Lead Architect, Product Manager, and Innovation Strategy Lead.

• Monitor technical dependencies and liaise with customer infrastructure teams to ensure access to staging and production environments.

• Collaborate with QA to implement test plans and confirm releases prior to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering or technical architecture, including hands-on development across backend, frontend, and data integration technologies.

• At least 3 years of practical experience in developing or integrating solutions within the Adobe ecosystem, with proficiency in one or more Adobe solutions and extending platform capabilities through APIs and custom development.

• Over 3 years of experience in designing and constructing API-based integrations, data pipelines, or event-driven architectures that connect enterprise platforms and customer experience applications.

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in developing AI-enabled applications or solutions, including familiarity with AI-assisted coding, prompt engineering, agent/LLM configurations, fine-tuning, or integrating custom AI models.

• Proficient in at least 3 relevant programming languages/frameworks, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Node.js, React, and SQL.

• More than 5 years of experience in agile software development environments, including Scrum/Kanban methodologies, 1-2 week sprints, CI/CD deployment pipelines, feature branching, and iterative releases.

• Proven experience in guiding at least 2 rapid proofs-of-concept or prototypes through to implementation or production/pilot readiness, ideally under tight deadlines and evolving requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to define technical patterns and coding standards, perform code reviews, and collaborate with other developers to uphold code quality.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of functioning effectively in emerging technology environments with minimal constraints.
