
Expansion Manager, Australia & New Zealand

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia, +1 more country.
β’ Seek and onboard Carriers as Distribusion partners; negotiate marketplace, front-end, and back-end commercial agreements.
β’ Develop and implement a market entry strategy for ground transport in Australia and New Zealand.
β’ Contract B2C and B2B Retailers in both regions: OTAs, travel agencies, TMCs, inbound-specialist operators; manage the entire commercial lifecycle from outreach to launch.
β’ Oversee post-signature execution for all Retailers: onboarding, integration support, incubation, performance ramp-up, and long-term revenue growth.
β’ Propel sales and revenue growth by establishing impactful partnerships that align with Distribusion's strategic objectives in the region.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams - BD, Integrations, Product, Finance - to craft customized solutions and onboard partners onto the platform.
β’ Actively identify workarounds within our tech stack to facilitate additional growth.
β’ Eliminate obstacles, escalate issues early, and maintain a high pace of execution.
β’ Report to the Head of International Expansion as part of the Global Markets portfolio; contribute to cross-market BD intelligence and best practices.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in travel-tech, with direct involvement in the Australia and/or New Zealand market.
β’ Demonstrated success in finalizing commercial agreements with rail or transport operators; existing connections with group entities are a significant advantage.
β’ In-depth knowledge of the travel landscape: key Carrier and Retailer players, inbound travel trends, regulatory frameworks, and distribution infrastructure.
β’ Hunter mentality: capable of opening doors, conducting commercial negotiations, and independently closing agreements.
β’ Proven success in scaling strategic accounts and driving measurable revenue growth after signing.
β’ Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities; adept at influencing and engaging senior stakeholders.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to identify market opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
β’ International exposure: experience collaborating with global teams in a high-performance setting.
β’ High level of initiative: finds solutions and avoids getting stuck.
β’ Proficient in English (both spoken and written).
β’ Willingness to travel across these markets to engage with partners and attend industry events.
