This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Manage high-stakes, intricate casualty and liability claims, particularly in the areas of energy, oil & gas, construction, and substantial commercial risks.
• Lead investigations, conduct coverage assessments, and develop resolution strategies for claims involving multi-million-dollar amounts.
• Oversee both first- and third-party losses, including litigated cases.
• Collaborate with legal advisors, experts, and insurance carriers to ensure effective claim resolutions.
• Act as a reliable advisor to clients during critical and high-pressure situations.
• Utilize existing relationships and market presence to create new business opportunities and enhance revenue growth.
• Serve as a designated or preferred adjuster for various programs, accounts, and contracts.
• Identify and seize opportunities within carriers, MGAs, brokers, TPAs, and corporate clients.
• Play a pivotal role in expanding Davies' influence in the large casualty and energy sectors.
• Function as a senior-facing partner to clients, providing an exceptional experience.
• Strengthen and grow strategic relationships through credibility, responsiveness, and proven results.
• Represent Davies in the market as a thought leader and expert in the industry.
• Manage litigated claims in partnership with defense counsel.
• Serve as an Appraiser and/or Umpire for complicated disputes.
• Offer expert advice on claim strategies, valuations, and resolutions.
• Address large loss assignments and catastrophe events as required.
• Maintain a robust field presence for high-severity and complex claims.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Executive General Adjuster or in a senior-level adjusting role.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex casualty losses, with a strong preference for experience in energy and oil & gas sectors.
• Proven ability to generate revenue, establish client relationships, and act as a producer.
• Experience being listed on accounts, programs, or client rosters.
• Strong expertise in litigation management, appraisals, and umpire responsibilities.
• Advanced technical knowledge in coverage, investigations, and claim strategies.
• Proficient in using Xactimate and other industry-standard adjusting tools.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to work independently.
