This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Define the roles and responsibilities of the EDiT in a Long-Term Facility.
• Aid in evaluating various operations within a nursing facility.
• Serve as a bridge between the nursing facility, residents, families, and the external community.
• Gather and produce reports on budget forecasts, revenue, and expenditures.
• Exemplify our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Ensure that all employees, residents, and families are treated with the highest level of respect.
• Engage actively in community groups and establish/maintain relationships with local hospital leadership and physicians.
• Keep track of industry regulations, laws, and compliance updates, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Utilize time effectively to study both Federal and State regulations, achieving a thorough understanding of industry best practices.
• Comprehend staffing level requirements and comply with industry and company standards.
• Assist in monitoring and guiding the implementation of policy and procedural changes.
• Actively participate in addressing HR issues and Risk Management scenarios within the facility.
• Aid in capital improvement projects.
• Participate in Advisory committees.
• Contribute to all safety programs.
• Build and uphold an outstanding reputation within the industry and community.
• Foster relationships with the support team (HR/Therapy/Clinical/Finance) to aid in achieving or surpassing goals.
• Assist in contract negotiations with vendors under the guidance of the Preceptor.
• Support Clinical initiatives by understanding Quality Assurance measures and holding personnel accountable.
• Stay informed about collections and Accounts Receivable on a daily basis.
• Develop and implement innovative ideas to boost employee engagement and reduce turnover.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration or Business is preferred.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from managers and employees.
• Competent in applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical scenarios.
• Skilled in solving practical problems and handling a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite products.
