Executive Director, Market Impact

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive management, planning, execution, and leadership for all facets of a designated market.

• Foster mission-driven impact and promote equity in maternal and infant health.

• Engage supporters and expand a diversified revenue portfolio.

• Manage donor relations and maintain an individual donor portfolio.

• Formulate and execute local strategic plans, revenue streams, budgets, and financial evaluations.

• Position March of Dimes as a pivotal leader in maternal and child health care.

• Build partnerships with corporations, foundations, community and corporate leaders, government officials, nonprofits, and other supporters.

• Report directly to the Associate Vice President of Market Impact.

• Lead and cultivate local donor relationships, mission initiatives, and shared-services staff.

• Recruit, develop, and retain volunteer leaders and board members.

• Ensure the integrity of CRM data and utilize reporting to inform business decisions.

• Monitor donor requirements, market developments, and competitor strategies.

• Hire, mentor, develop, evaluate, and retain a diverse market workforce.

• Establish performance objectives, provide constructive feedback, and conduct annual performance evaluations.

• Cultivate a productive, professional, respectful, and culturally diverse workplace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience managing multiple staff members across various functional areas, including remote employees.

• Background in a nonprofit setting is advantageous.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong leadership and management capabilities, with the aptitude to inspire staff and drive change.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships.
