This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the comprehensive management, planning, execution, and leadership for all elements within a specified market.
• Generate mission impact, engage supporters, diversify revenue streams, manage donor relations, develop boards and staff, oversee human resources, and uphold budgets.
• Position March of Dimes as a frontrunner in maternal and child health care.
• Forge partnerships with corporations, foundations, community and corporate leaders, government representatives, nonprofits, and supporters.
• Report to the Associate Vice President of Market Impact, sharing successes and addressing challenges.
• Lead and nurture local donor relationships, mission initiatives, and shared-services staff.
• Formulate and execute local strategic plans aimed at mission impact, health equity, measurable outcomes, and revenue enhancement.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain influential state-level volunteer leaders and board members.
• Spearhead fundraising efforts, manage donor portfolios, major gifts, planned giving, corporate engagement, and mission investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with national business partners to establish strategic alliances.
• Ensure CRM data integrity and utilize reporting to inform business decisions.
• Monitor donor requirements, market trends, and competitor activities to project revenue and pinpoint opportunities.
• Develop strategic plans, revenue forecasts, financial analyses, and budgets.
• Conduct quarterly market assessments and ensure staff adherence to strategic priorities.
• Recruit, train, engage, and retain volunteer leadership.
• Hire, mentor, develop, assess, and retain a diverse market staff.
• Set performance objectives, accountability measures, benchmarks, and milestones.
• Provide constructive feedback, professional growth opportunities, and career development paths.
• Foster a productive, respectful, and culturally diverse workplace.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multiple staff members across various functional areas, including remote employees.
• Experience in a nonprofit setting is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management abilities, with the capacity to inspire staff and implement change.
