Executive Director, AI Infrastructure – Platform Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the long-term vision and strategy for AI infrastructure and platform engineering.

• Attract, recruit, nurture, and retain a high-performing engineering team.

• Define clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations across all functional teams.

• Create and maintain a high-performing 24/7 operations model.

• Oversee GPU FinOps governance, focusing on utilization optimization, tenant quota enforcement, and cost reduction.

• Empower the Security SRE Lead to uphold a world-class security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in engineering leadership roles.

• Hands-on experience with production management of bare-metal Kubernetes or OpenShift.

• Proficiency with high-speed cluster fabrics, including RoCE v2, InfiniBand, and EVPN-VXLAN.

• More than 5 years of experience leading multiple technical teams concurrently.

• Demonstrated success in establishing and enforcing operational standards.

• Experience in leading operational transitions or scaling organizational build-outs.

• Strong communication skills with executive-level stakeholders, including vendor negotiation and budget management.
