This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee a team of Staff and Seniors (across various locations) to ensure the delivery of SOX engagements, which includes scoping, design testing, effectiveness testing, and reporting for multiple client processes.
• Offer guidance to Staff and Senior members to perform effective assessments for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
• Conduct and lead activities for control rationalization and standardization, or redesign existing controls for business processes.
• Assess control gaps identified during design or operating effectiveness testing, provide recommendations, and track the remediation process.
• Accountable for defining the budget, monitoring actuals against it, and managing resource planning and scheduling.
• Independently handle client process owners with minimal oversight.
• Adhere to quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allocated budget) to enhance client value.
• Exhibit an application and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving while executing client engagements.
• Proactively identify engagement-related risks and escalate issues as necessary in a timely manner.
• Design and execute area-specific transition plans within agreed timelines.
• Lead the team in performing analytics and benchmarking activities for clients.
• Promote process automation and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Over 7 years of experience in a “Big 4” or professional firm, or in the professional industry, focusing on risks and controls, with more than 4 years dedicated to SOX/internal controls.
• Comprehensive understanding of the SOX and COSO frameworks.
• A leader and team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• CIA certification is preferred and considered an advantage.
• Strong academic background (degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field).
• Excellent multi-project management capabilities.
• Proficient at collaborating, motivating, and guiding high-performance teams.
• Possess cognitive problem-solving abilities, quick decision-making skills, and the capacity to manage complex situations with composure.
• Exceptional command of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel to onsite locations globally, as required.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
