Events Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Develop and implement strategies for both virtual and in-person events.

• Align business priorities, objectives, and key messages with event planning.

• Oversee and coordinate pre-event promotions, day-of management, and follow-up activities, including email campaigns, surveys, and other communications.

• Schedule regular events and manage all related tasks such as creating landing pages, sending email invitations and follow-ups, and handling registrations and reporting.

• Generate engaging content for a variety of distribution platforms, including webinars, event materials, presentations, conferences, and meetups.

• Foster user engagement by delivering innovative and exciting events to our community.

• Support the creative development of event initiatives, from branding and agenda design to content creation and venue selection, all the way through to event execution.

• Negotiate and manage relationships with external partners and vendors for multiple events.

• Assist in tracking budget expenditures throughout event projects and communicate any scope changes that impact the budget.

• Self-motivated individual who is inspired by ideas but also values teamwork.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and planning in-person and virtual events, with a significant portion in large fintech events.

• Experience and willingness to engage in all facets of the marketing process, including future products, current business strategies, marketing communications, branding, positioning, messaging, and downstream demand/lead generation.

• Exceptional communication, partnership, collaboration, and project management skills.

• Strong time management and multitasking abilities, along with flexibility and professional confidence.

• Proven capability to effectively manage multiple project requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where tight deadlines and unexpected challenges may arise.
