This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of communications planning for key events, which includes creating communications plans and outlines, messaging calendars, approval workflows, and reusable templates for annual use.
β’ Create and refine keynote narratives, executive presentations, speaker briefs, agendas, talking points, scripts, and run-of-show content that effectively convey business and executive priorities into a unified narrative that enhances audience comprehension, alignment, and action.
β’ Write, edit, proofread, and distribute invitations, registration and reminder communications, signage, onsite messaging, speaker communications, and post-event follow-ups.
β’ Design tailored communication journeys for audiences before, during, and after each event by identifying touchpoints, sequencing messages, defining desired actions, and incorporating feedback from attendees.
β’ Ensure editorial excellence and guarantee that all communications directed at attendees align with Convergint's brand standards, messaging guidelines, and Values & Beliefs.
β’ Function as an integrated member of the Events team and a strategic ally to Global Communications, ensuring alignment on enterprise messaging, brand, and voice while independently managing the communications strategy and execution for events.
β’ Direct the communications workstream in collaboration with Creative Services, UX/UI resources, and agency partners to ensure that content and digital touchpoints are delivered as a unified communications experience.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
β’ Between 5β8 years of experience in communications, content marketing, event marketing, or a related field, with a focus on developing communications plans and governance.
β’ Strong preference for advanced skills in presentation creation and editing, particularly in developing executive-ready PowerPoint content, enhancing narrative flow and message hierarchy, and simplifying complex information for clarity and impact.
β’ Experience with mapping audience journeys and sequencing communications.
β’ Capability to independently handle multiple priorities and engage with various stakeholders.
β’ Experience collaborating with event operations, creative teams, and agencies.
β’ Familiarity with Cvent or similar event technology is preferred.
