This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to synchronize event marketing strategies with account plans.
• Plan, implement, and monitor Merkle Science’s global event activities to enhance lead generation and pipeline expansion.
• Establish event marketing goals and metrics; conduct evaluations post-event and suggest optimization strategies.
• Assess event effectiveness against KPIs to guide decisions and align with overarching business objectives.
• Contribute to the strategic formulation of event marketing plans.
• Oversee event marketing budgets, monitor expenses, report on usage and performance, and communicate any changes in scope.
• Serve as the primary contact for event marketing and lead workstreams for cross-functional teams and internal leaders.
• Partner with Sales to identify marketing-supported needs and address gaps.
• Organize and relay event schedules, locations, registration information, and other details for attendees.
• Assess third-party opportunities and cultivate vendor relationships.
• Keep abreast of business development, partner relations, and key account strategies.
• Manage projects alongside teams, suppliers, and contributors to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of work.
• At least two years of experience in event marketing or field marketing.
• Familiarity with trade show project management, encompassing strategy, messaging, design, logistics, vendor management, budgeting, execution, and post-event assessments.
• Preferred experience working within B2B or B2G marketing frameworks.
• Strong organizational and communication capabilities.
• Comfortable presenting strategies and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Salesforce reporting and analysis of marketing funnel metrics.
• Occasional travel is required, amounting to less than 20%.
