This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure the event marketing strategy aligns with account plans.
• Plan, implement, and monitor Merkle Science’s global event presence to enhance lead generation and pipeline development.
• Establish objectives and metrics for event marketing initiatives.
• Perform evaluations after events, report on progress, and suggest optimization tactics.
• Assess the impact of events against KPIs to guide decision-making and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Contribute to the strategic formulation of event marketing plans.
• Oversee event marketing budgets and report on budget utilization and performance.
• Monitor budget expenditures and communicate any changes in scope that may affect the budget.
• Lead event marketing workstreams while supporting cross-functional teams and internal leaders.
• Work closely with Sales to identify marketing-supported needs and address any gaps.
• Organize and disseminate information regarding event schedules, locations, registration details, and attendee information.
• Evaluate third-party opportunities and establish vendor partnerships.
• Remain updated on partner and key account strategies, advocating for alignment.
• Coordinate with teams, suppliers, and contributors to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
• At least two years of experience in event marketing or field marketing.
• Knowledge in managing trade show projects, including strategy, messaging, design, logistics, vendor management, budgeting, execution, and post-event analysis.
• Preferred experience in B2B or B2G marketing environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting strategies and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient with Salesforce for reporting and analyzing marketing funnel metrics.
• Occasional travel may be required, amounting to less than 20%.
