This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Deliver individual and group psychotherapy for adults participating in the Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
• Facilitate Mental Health IOP groups and conduct individual and family therapy sessions.
• Create and uphold person-centered, trauma-informed treatment strategies.
• Perform thorough mental health evaluations and determine appropriate levels of care.
• Provide education to patients regarding their diagnoses, treatment methods, and symptom management techniques.
• Develop and present psychoeducational and skills-based groups centered on emotional regulation, coping abilities, and mental wellness.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, PRP, and other therapists to ensure integrated mental health services.
• Engage in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning activities.
• Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and outside providers.
• Ensure high-quality patient care is reflected through metrics such as retention, attendance, and successful program completion.
• Complete clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Must be comfortable working remotely.
• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in providing mental health treatment.
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline.
• Active independent licensure as LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC in the State of Maryland.
• Strong understanding of CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
• Ideal candidates should be comfortable working with both adolescents and adults.
• Experience with EMDR is preferred.
