This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver contracted virtual therapy services to children and adolescents aged 5–17+
• Provide evidence-based therapy, conduct clinical assessments, make diagnoses, and develop case conceptualizations and treatment plans
• Create individualized care plans tailored to developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs along with treatment objectives
• Utilize measurement-based care and validated clinical tools to assess needs, steer care planning, and track progress
• Implement evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, TF-CBT, and PCIT during virtual sessions
• Recognize safety issues, formulate safety plans, and offer crisis intervention or escalation when required
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, educational professionals, and other relevant parties to coordinate care
• Ensure timely and accurate HIPAA-compliant documentation in TimelyCare’s electronic health record
• Uphold treatment goals and documentation that align with professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinical standards
• Apply independent professional judgment in accordance with licensure, relevant laws, contractual obligations, and TimelyCare platform standards
• Typically conduct 55-minute therapy sessions with remaining time allocated for documentation
• Possession of active, unrestricted independent clinical licensure as an LPC, LCPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.; LP/LCP as applicable)
• Authorization to independently deliver clinical services in the relevant state
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and active listening
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
• Capability to assess and address safety concerns, including crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• Associate or provisionally licensed therapists, school psychologists, and school counselors without a clinical therapist license are ineligible
• Preferred: experience in providing pediatric or adolescent behavioral health services through telehealth, school-based programs, outpatient mental health, or community mental health settings
• Preferred: experience or certification in evidence-based pediatric and adolescent treatment modalities such as TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, PCIT, Parent Management Training, or trauma-informed care
• Preferred: knowledge of family systems and developmentally suitable clinical interventions
• Professional liability coverage for services rendered through TimelyCare, subject to applicable terms and coverage requirements
• Partial compensation may be offered for qualifying late cancellations and no-shows
• Access to monthly APA/ASWB sponsored CE opportunities may be available
• Eligibility to take part in TimelyCare’s provider referral program, subject to program terms
• Contractor autonomy regarding service availability
• Provision of virtual services from a suitable home or professional office environment
