This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver virtual therapy services under contract to children and adolescents aged 5–17+
• Provide therapy that is evidence-based, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, case conceptualization, and treatment planning
• Create individualized care plans that cater to developmental, behavioral, emotional needs, and treatment objectives
• Implement measurement-based care and validated clinical tools to evaluate needs, direct care planning, and track progress
• Conduct developmentally suitable virtual sessions utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, TF-CBT, PCIT, among others
• Recognize safety issues, carry out safety planning, and offer crisis intervention or escalation when necessary
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, educational professionals, and other relevant parties when clinically appropriate and allowed
• Ensure timely, precise, HIPAA-compliant documentation in TimelyCare’s electronic health record
• Uphold treatment goals and documentation that align with professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinical standards
• Use independent professional judgment within the boundaries of licensure, applicable laws, contractual obligations, and TimelyCare platform standards
• Typically conduct 55-minute therapy sessions, with remaining time allocated for documentation
• Active, unrestricted independent clinical licensure as an LPC, LCPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.; LP/LCP as applicable)
• Authorization to independently deliver clinical services within the relevant state
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and active listening
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
• Capability to assess and appropriately respond to safety concerns, including crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning
• Associate or provisionally licensed therapists, school psychologists, and school counselors lacking a clinical therapist license are ineligible
• Valid U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is not available
• Preferred: Experience in providing pediatric or adolescent behavioral health services via telehealth, school-based programs, outpatient mental health, or community mental health settings
• Preferred: Experience or certification in evidence-based treatment modalities for pediatric and adolescent care such as TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, PCIT, Parent Management Training, or trauma-informed care
• Preferred: Knowledge of family systems and developmentally suitable clinical interventions
• Professional liability coverage for services rendered through TimelyCare, subject to applicable terms and coverage requirements
• Partial compensation may be available for qualifying late cancellations and no-shows in accordance with applicable contractor terms
• Access to monthly APA/ASWB sponsored CE opportunities may be available
