EUC Modern Workplace Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver Tier 3 and Tier 4 technical support for Windows, Microsoft Intune, and MECM/SCCM environments.

• Oversee and maintain endpoint devices and configurations via Microsoft Intune.

• Handle configuration and compliance policies, device targeting, reporting, and troubleshooting.

• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Autopilot, encompassing device registration, deployment profiles, pre-provisioning, and build validation.

• Administer Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) environments, which includes clients, deployments, collections, and content distribution.

• Package, test, and distribute applications utilizing Intune and MECM, including Win32 Apps, MSI/MSIX, and PSAppDeploy.

• Develop and implement PowerShell scripts for automation, remediation, reporting, and operational support.

• Plan, execute, and oversee update and patching processes for Windows environments and applications.

• Investigate and resolve incidents through advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

• Engage with incident, problem, and change management processes within an ITIL-aligned framework.

• Support large-scale endpoint provisioning, configuration, compliance, and security processes.

• Collaborate with Service Desk, Security, Infrastructure, Applications, and vendor teams.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

• Contribute to endpoint service automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist with initiatives related to device lifecycle management, Windows 11 readiness, and enhancing the user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in administering and supporting Microsoft Intune and/or MECM/SCCM in corporate settings.

• Strong background in troubleshooting Windows endpoints, covering operating systems, drivers, connectivity, authentication, performance, and application distribution.

• Familiarity with Windows Autopilot, including device provisioning and deployment procedures.

• Experience in packaging and distributing applications via Intune and/or MECM.

• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation, troubleshooting, remediation, and operational support.

• Experience in managing updates and patches in Windows environments.

• Understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, Group Policy, and concepts related to hybrid environments.

• Knowledge of endpoint security, including BitLocker, security baselines, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Apps deployment, updating, and troubleshooting.

• Experience working with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.

• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and propose permanent solutions for recurring issues.

• Capability to produce technical documentation and runbooks.

• Advanced proficiency in English, enabling effective communication in a global environment across various departments and locations.

• Microsoft certifications relevant to Endpoint, Modern Desktop, or similar fields are advantageous.

• ITIL certification or knowledge is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, workflow automation, and APIs is a plus.

• Experience with Log Analytics and KQL is advantageous.

• Experience with Nexthink is a plus.

• Experience with CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager is advantageous.

• Experience collaborating with Microsoft, hardware manufacturers, and third-party vendors is a plus.

• Experience in global endpoint lifecycle management environments is beneficial.

• Knowledge of Windows 11 preparation and migration processes is a plus.
