Ethics and Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Evaluate incoming ethics hotline complaints and formulate actionable investigation strategies.

• Carry out impartial, confidential investigations into claims of fraud, conflicts of interest, bribery, and ethical violations.

• Execute internal audits to ensure the company adheres to its own policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts across EHS, HR, Legal, Trade Compliance, Quality, and Operations.

• Gather, document, and assess evidence effectively.

• Conduct interviews with witnesses and involved parties.

• Work alongside Human Resources, Legal, Internal Audit, and external legal counsel on sensitive matters.

• Analyze investigation data to detect trends and minimize compliance risks.

• Suggest policy modifications and enhancements to processes.

• Plan and execute operational and internal audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

• Prepare investigation and audit reports detailing findings, root causes, and recommendations for senior management.

• Deliver ethics training and raise awareness through initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in internal auditing, corporate investigations, or compliance within human resources.

• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Proficient interviewing skills.

• High emotional intelligence and an ability to exercise objective judgment.

• Unwavering integrity.

• Capacity to uphold strict confidentiality concerning sensitive personal information.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
