This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate architectural plans, shop drawings, and project specifications to ascertain material, labor, and production needs for custom stainless steel fabrications.

• Conduct thorough takeoffs for stainless steel components, such as countertops, kitchen equipment, exhaust hoods, sinks, wall claddings, and shelving.

• Generate precise and timely project estimates using estimating software and Excel, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing strategies.

• Engage directly with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to clarify project specifics, specifications, and timelines.

• Request and assess quotes from vendors to determine material costs and enhance procurement strategies.

• Keep meticulous records of all estimates, takeoffs, and revisions for both current and past projects.

• Work closely with project managers and shop production teams to ensure a smooth transition of information once projects are awarded.

• Actively investigate industry trends, material costs, and fabrication innovations to guarantee cost-effectiveness and uphold competitiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

• At least 2 years of estimating experience, ideally within the metal fabrication or construction sectors.

• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift) and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong knowledge of stainless steel materials, fabrication processes, and finishes utilized in the food service industry.

• Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
